RomHack

Volunteer at RomHack

RomHack Camp doesn’t happen without the people who make it run. If you’d like to be part of the staff, pick one or more time slots and lend us a hand — even a few hours make a real difference to the Camp experience.

With a 4-hour shift, you’re entitled to a pizza voucher for Friday and Saturday dinners! 🍕

Telegram will be our main communication channel during the event, so we strongly recommend leaving your Telegram contact in the form.

How it works

  1. Fill out the form (check your inbox) with your contact details and tick all the shifts you’re available for — you can select as many as you like in a single submission.
  2. We’ll reach out to you on Telegram to confirm your shifts and share the details.
  3. On the day of your shift, show up 15 minutes early at the welcome desk: you’ll be walked to your assigned area and briefed on what to do.

Available shifts

Shifts run from Thursday to Sunday. If you’re arriving as early as Thursday, you can help us set things up!

Thursday, Oct 1 (build-up) 13:00–17:00 · 17:00–21:00 · 21:00–23:00

Friday, Oct 2 09:00–13:00 · 13:00–17:00 · 17:00–21:00 · 21:00–23:00

Saturday, Oct 3 09:00–13:00 · 13:00–17:00 · 17:00–21:00 · 21:00–23:00

Sunday, Oct 4 09:00–13:00 · 13:00–17:00 (teardown)

What you might help with

You don’t need to pick an area in advance — we’ll assign you when you arrive, based on where help is needed. Typical areas include:

  • Ticket welcome desk — check-in, welcome kits and greeting speakers
  • Beer — pouring, restocking and helping attendees during breaks and evenings
  • Audio / Video — mics, sound and video for talks and workshops
  • Logistics — setup, moving materials and general support to the staff
  • Shop — the Cyber Saiyan stand: swag, badges and helping visitors

This list isn’t exhaustive — we may also send you wherever an extra hand is needed on the day.

What you need to sign up

The form is short. You’ll be asked for:

  • Your name (or the nickname you’d prefer to use)
  • Your Telegram contact (preferred — it’s our main channel to reach you) and/or a phone number
  • The shifts you’re available for
